Keyboard Shortcuts in Koala

If you have a QWERTY keyboard connected to your device, you should be able to use it to control a bunch of koala’s functionality.

PADS

Pads are controlled by the left hand side of your keyboard – this is how they map:

Sequences are controlled by the right hand side of the keyboard.

m Toggle metronome
0 (the number) Toggle recording
Backspace Delete selected sample
TAB / SHIFT + TAB go left and right between sample/sequence/perform sections
left/right arrow keys go between sample banks
n hold and press pad for solo
b hold and press pad for mute
= + 1 bar length of current sequence
– (minus) – 1 bar length of current sequence
_ (underscore) Double up sequences
[ Previous sequence bank
] Next sequence bank

MUSICAL KEYBOARD

When in keyboard mode (e.g. when you press the keyboard button) you can use your QWERTY keyboard as a musical one.
